Mission Statement

The Lay Faculty Association is a union established in 1969 to help better the lives of the teachers serving in the Archdiocese of New York through communications, arbitrations and negotiations with the employer.

We currently serve over 450 teachers throughout the Archdiocese with legal, professional and medical services designed to allow the teachers the opportunity to make Catholic education a career.
